How do you chose how you enter competition? I have been doing it for a few months on and off and thought i could do with a bit of motivation and ideas to do things a bit differently.

I sort by date posted so I can look at every new comp posted and then enter the ones that I like. Does this come under 'other'? I know a lot of people do this, or alternatively sort by date ending and then do all the ones they want.0

Enter almost everything!
Got to be in it to win in

WELL, I change my method suited to how much effort I want to put in. I used to enter competitions that came up over a 24 hour period once a day, then enter comps ending the following day so I wouldn't miss anything and mark everything using the "thanks" button. This method didn't really work for me, so I went back to entering competitions ending the next day and doing all the weekend competitions on the friday. I don't enter everything, just general money, holidays, gadgets and anything that I think either myself or a friend/family member would like. Become a little despondant recently so didn't bother doing the 30th November yestserday, it just takes me too much time!Debt Free - Go Me0

I sort by date ending and just go through and enter ones I want to win, far too many to enter all !!0

I usually look through in the morning for anything posted overnight. I then start my job hunting!
Once the job hunt is out of the way, I check the comps posted since last time I looked.
I've been compng for a month and not won anything yet.
I enter all the comps for holidays, food/chocolate and technology. I've also started entering for stuff that I personally wouldn't want but would be able to pass to family or sell on.Thanks to those that post the comps!!

I sort by end date and only enter for ones I want.
I prefer comps with more than one prize, that block automated entries and are not open for months.
I don't bother with sites/comps that I know just generate loads spam, need loads of info to register before you can enter, comps with unlimited entries etc.0 -
The reasons I enter by date posted rather than date ended are that a) if I don't manage to enter any for a day or two, it doesn't really matter as it's unlikely that many of the ones newly posted will have closed in that time, and I can then catch up later. And b) it keeps the amount I have to do each day more even... there isn't that massive increase at the end of the month.
If any of the newly posted ones that I'm interested in are dailies, I add them to my favourites (bookmarks) folder, and do those every day. I also have a folder for weeklies, which I do on Mondays (or Tuesdays if I don't get time on Monday).0 -
i kinda have a comping routine
morning i do dailys
during day comps posted since last logged in
evening continue with comps listed during day and comps by ending date like to be 4/5 days ahead with these in case they end early
postals do day before i know i,ll be near post office
weeklies are hit and miss
i enter for things usefull for me or family and on sites im registered withJAN WINS- pepsi tshirt,0 -
I don't get a lot of comping time at the mo but usually just go through the older comps and enter things I'd like to win : ) x0
