Mens & Ladies Hunter wellies

We would both like a pair possibly the neo lined ones and the balmoral neo ones.

Now these dont come cheap so I'd be expecting them to last years

I have heard they are possibly no longer made in scotland and the quality is far less than it used to be, leaking, boots splitting and stuff.

Does anyone have any experience of these? Do they keep the feet warmer than other wellies? Do they leak?

If you think they aren't as they used to be can anyone recommed a pair that would do these jobs and last

thanks folks

We have Hunter and they are same as other wellies - they keep you dry but not warm. We wear thick / thermal socks, HTH
  • I've got some Muck boots, have also had hunters. Put my muckboots on instead of my walking boots at the mo as THEY ARE SO WARM! sorry to shout but am amazed at how good they feel!

I recently got Tayberry county muddies and they are muck boots after my Hunter split and i must say the Tayberrys are much warmer and comfier, not much in price either....wouldn't get hunters again now.

The neoprene makes all the difference and the insole is boingy like cushioned...really cosy.
