  • Morning,

This is my first one so can I ask a question - I give DS1 dinner money every day, does that make every day a spend day?

Personally, I wouldnt count that as a spend as it is essential and also planned IFYSWIM.For example, I dont count my fares for the days I work ( essential spend) However, if I spend on anything over and above the planned spend, it becomes a spend day. I dont count DD's or SO's as they are planned and essential but anything else I count, ie groceries, prescriptions etc. I try to group my spends into one or two days a week as it feels like I have my money in my purse that bit longer! HTH:)

Hopefully this horrid weather will keep me in and away from the local shops.
