Buy any evening standard THIS week, and receive a free cinema ticket to use at ANY Odeon cinema (any film), on the equivalent day of purchase, NEXT WEEK.

Paper is 50p, so a bargain if you make use of the cinema ticket.

I'll be buying 2 tomorrow, just for this purpose.

Apologies if this has already been posted.

I doubt it - haven't actually seen the offer in the paper, but given that it is a London paper i wouldn't expect the offer to extend outside london...

Taken from the link posted in the orignal posting...

    "MONDAY to FRIDAY

Free cinema ticket for every reader

Don't forget to pick up your Evening Standard all this week for your free Odeon cinema ticket. Each ticket is redeemable on the corresponding day next week. So if you get Monday's paper you can get free entry to any London Odeon cinema* on Monday 30th October and so on.

  • I've just been given a free blue umbrella with my Evening Standard. I bought it at W H Smiths in Muswell Hill. I don't know if the promotion is just in W H Smiths or not or if it carries on tomorrow. For those interested the umbrella is blue and has Evening Standard written on it

I got a red one from Abbey National last year. It was used for a while but to be honest it was pretty poorly done. Broke very very easily. Im guessing youll get 15 uses outta your blue one.

I actually found the paper on the train and then got another one so going to see something next tuesday at greenwich.

    tip:
go in at 6.30pm and pre book to make sure you get seats and avoid the 7pm rush
Save saynoto0870.com in your favorites, and stop giving companies more £££ dialling 0870 numbers when you can dial freephones or cheaper alternatives
call your credit card company, tell them that you want to leave, 99% of the time theyll lower your APR%
Remember when that Bank Manager or Salesperson smiles at you, all he sees is £ notes. Dont forget the motto, "the wider their grin, the more debt your in"

yes, apologies for initial misleading post. didn't quite have all the facts to hand at that stage.
It appears its only the selected cinemas mentioned above (thanks Martin).
    Other things to note are:
    - Only valid on films showing after 7pm.
    - Only valid once per transaction (so if you go as a couple with 1 voucher each, buy 2 single tickets in 2 seperate transactions).

Still, a cracker of a deal. Puts orange wednesdays to shame. I'll be visiting the cinema 3 times next week. Fortunately, my girlfriend is a movie nut also.
