    Oh flip, got to the paying stage on PayPal and it said there was an error and to check my emails in half an hour. Have I purchased it or did it not go through??? I'm trying to secretly buy as if my husband catches me doing yet more online shopping, I'll be for the high jump.

    Hmmm...

    I just tried to put the order through then after paypal stage it said asos was undergoing maintenance and couldn't process. So I checked my emails - no email - then checked paypal - no money had left. So tried to put the order through again, and the same thing happened. No money left, assumed the order hadn't gone through.

    Just put it back in my basket to try a third time - whaddya know, I just got a confirmation email for one of those first orders... here's hoping only one went through!
