Thats just the motion plus add-on, so you still need a normal remote. Cheapest I could find was Amazon itself for the newer remote with built in motion plus and they are £33.94 each. The black friday wii was a great deal but the extra accessories that you need as well soon add up ;-)

Whoops that was in answer to the post above but for some reason it didn't include the quote. HTH

sorry i was showing link as we already have 2 normal controls will these add on to them ok? yeah it was a good deal but can add up when you start to add things to it, we're lucky tho as i say we got 2 normal controls, nunchuck and 2 classic controls

Ah I misunderstood, when you mentioned you had a wii arriving I assumed you were in same position as myself, didn't realise you already had normal remotes. As far as I can make out if you have the older style remotes you buy that add-on that you have linked to, to effectively upgrade them to motion plus. If like me you want an extra motion plus controller but don't have anything to start with then its better to go with the newer remotes that include the motion plus, which are £33.94 on amazon.

Thanks OP I picked one up this morning, works great and took about 7 hours to charge both remotes. Now the remotes are charged I might give me an incentive to dig out the wii fit too! :)
  • Thanks very much Curlywurli. That's a great find. I've just reserved one to collect in store tomorrow.

  • If you buy any Wii Game along with this Wii Charger the price is meant drop to half price. The extra discount does not kick in but if you take a print-out showing the offer then it should get honoured instore.

I tried it yesterday and was able to get Wii Music (566/1200) £9.99 and Wii Charger Dock (566/9305) for just £3.50 instead of £6.99 = Total Paid 13.49.

no, the batteries are in the remote, these things can be a good idea as they are rechargable and keep the remotes tidy but you can also get the chargers without the motion plus if you dont use the motion plus that often
