Not sure what it's really called, but I'm looking for foam to pop into a case to hold a microscope so I will cut out a shape for it to fit into it.
I imagine the grey type foam is what I am after but no idea where to get it from! Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks

You can buy foam at Dunelm Mills - the kind that is used for seat-cushions and upholstery. I think the grey stuff you mean is slightly firmer than the stuff they sell, but I think it would be adequate for your purpose.0
