Debt Free by time im 30..........

Hi all,
most of the day I have been doing calculations relating to my finances, anyway i have come to the conclusion that provided i pay at least £333.00 towards my debts per month i will be debt free by my 30 birthday, which is Dec 2009, now if i had stuck with how it was originally then that date was nearer 2013. I thought about it loads today and thats what my personal target is as by time im 30 i want the slate wiped clean. At least then i can enjoy life to the full and actually afford to enjoy it. Its the simple thing that will be nice such getting paid and seeing the money in my account rather than getting eaten up by my overdraft. I look forward to my stating that Im now debt free in dec 2009, the reason im able to do this is because of all the advice that i have seen on this site, :T :T

  • Good luck Newmum-that is my goal too, though I am 30 in January 2009...at the moment I am on track and hoping to bring my debt free date forward 6 months by over payments to my Egg Loan, after the credit card is paid off at the begining of next year.

At least we have something to look forward to in reaching 30 :p

Can I join? I'm 30 in June 09 and my original debt free date was June 2010 but i'm aiming for Christmas 07 now. It'll be hard but i'm determined to do it. :T
  • I'd like to join too. I'm 30 in July 2009, seems that there are a lot of us at a similar age range here. Original DFD was Dec 2010, but I like the sound of a challenge, even if I don't make it hopefully I will be further ahead than I would have otherwise been without trying to make it!
