Kenwood Chef Chopping

Hi,
I am considering buying a second hand Kenwood Chef and would like it to accomplish all the tasks of my food processor. I know that there is both a high speed and slow speed shredder attachment for both the A700 & A900 series chefs and I would like to know which one does the job better.
I mainly need to know about the stuff which you would normally do with the blade of the processor like chopping fruit, veg and fat for pastry.
Thanks in advance:rotfl:!

I've got one of these http://www.electricshopping.com/kenwood-high-speed-slicer-shredder.html
It does a good job of slicing things like a slicing/shredding disc on a food processor, we've used it to bulk shred apples, onions and other things.
I like the look of this http://www.electricshopping.com/kenwood-at340-pro-slicer-grater.html as well.
As far as making pastry goes, I just use the ordinary K beater for that and it works fine.
Modern attachments fit the 9XX series and the KM series, they don't fit the 7XX series. If you buy a 7XX Chef you'll need 7 series attachments, you can get these on ebay but they can be quite expensive .Piglet
