Paying too much tax after unemployment?

Aaaah, thank you! So, I will be off to the payroll department first thing tomorrow morning and ask them about the "wrong" tax code.
It's possible they haven't received the code from HMRC so you need to check with your payroll dept.If I understand you correctly, I should receive a higher payout / expect a reduced amount for tax payable, once they use 647L for my future pay slips, starting next month. Correct?
Cheers,
DUS
Next month should see a rebate. After that I would expect to see you taxed normally with £539.81 tax free.0 -
Thank you very much for your help! That´s greatly appreciated!
