  • Thanks for the heads up anyway, I would not use it because I use Skype and all the free ones and I have good headsets and all.
  • I cannot find this on either the Aldi website or the email newsletter. Is it definitely or this Thursday (26 October)?

It was in the email newsletter I received on 23 October, definitely on sale from tomorrow.

    NO IT IS NOT.

There was a sign at each of the tills in local Aldi when I called in yesterday saying the Internet Phone was DELAYED and not available until I think from memory the start of December. Anyway - DEFINITELY delayed from signs in the stores yesterday.

AND it has vanished from the Specials for Thu 26th as listed on their website currently.

Oooh sorry! No need for the shouting  Only going off the info I had in my email as I haven't been in the store this week yet.

You should have a look at Skype. Excellent that is, Ive found it better than landlines at times. Plus their rates to call landlines are really low

Better to use a headset or a mike than phone, especially for long conversations. Your hands are free and u can surf and talk at the same time!!!

Don't spend five pounds to dry clean a shirt. Donate it to the charity shop instead. They'll clean it and put it on a hanger. Next morning buy it back for two pounds.
  • A bit off topic but I realise that I have not received the email newsletter for a few weeks. I guess that is why I did not see the phone :) .

I have tried to re-subscribe and get the email with the link to confirm. However when I click this, I get an error. The URL in the email is valid, but it redirects to something which is not.

Has anyone managed to subscribe recently?

I have searched the website for any contact information to try to query this, but the only contacts that I have found are for the propery team. Does anyone have a phone number/email address which can put me in touch with anyone who can fix the emil problem?

I logged into my skype account yesterday and noticed a deal where if you add £10+VAT to your account they will give you 6 months skype to UK land lines for free! :j
There does not seem to be any connection charge or hidden costs either.

The credited money can then be used to fund cheap mobile and international calls. Win, win!

    Thanks!

I just logged onto my Skype account, and it is giving me prices in Euros. So I have added 10 Euros. Now to see if I get the free calls...
