If you have any Tesco vouchers you could use the Double-Up scheme and buy a handheld for the equivelent of around £50 in vouchers but the offer ends on the 5th December so you gotta act quick.0

Might not be such a good idea - apparently the battery only lasts about 10 mins!!What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Its the same on all of the handheld- I used to have a black-and-decker and it was the same issue. But TBG your wrist will only take so much at a time for most people. I was not really able to hoover more then one room at a time but this just meant I would tidy each room separatly then hoover then move onto the next room and repeat. By the time I'd tidied the next room (an hour or so) the hoover would be ready to go. (I was a student and had a tiny one bed room which is why I did not own a large hoover!)
However its no comparison to a proper hoover which you can start without stopping though IME it did a far better job of actually picking things up then the Argos Value model I had been using prior to owning a handheld!0 -

The whole idea is that you use the unit for spot cleaning - any more than the battery life and you'd be better off getting a full size cleaner out. You'll struggle to find a handheld with a better battery life and equivalent cleaning capability.0 -
Mine wasn't cheap but better value than B&D Dustbuster as you should be able to buy separate battery packs when they fail. All the B&D ones arhave hardwired NiCad batterries which are too expensive/almost impossible to replace.:j0

The battery doesn't need to last more than 10 mins - I can hoover the whole car, biscuit crumbs and all in 3 minutes with mine! I love it! No idea where cheapest though, just wanted to vouch for how good it is!0

Pop down to your local tip - there will be dozens!
Thrown away simply because the owner didn't know how to clean/change the filter.0 -
I bought mine from Dixon's about 2 weeks ago, it was £119 I've just checked and its now £134.99 http://www.dixons.co.uk/gbuk/r/dc31/0_0_0/ 3% cash back quidco, They might put the price down again, So it might be worth keep checking, My black and Decker battery started to go, and it was no good for the dog hairs in the car and around the home, It doesn't lose suction until the battery runs out and the lights flash when you need to charge it,
Its so cute I love it xx
just checked argos the dc30 is £119.95 you get a £10 argos voucher but that offer finishes tomorrow 30th nov you also get a free tool bag with it. and 3.5% cash back quidco http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4063775/Trail/searchtext>DYSON+HANDHELD.htm0
