Snowjogger Boots - has anyone worn them?

When the snow is really bad I have a a pair of Kodiak boots which I bought in Canada years ago and they are great but not pretty.
I've just spotted these (when looking for something else!) and am quite taken by them.
Has anyone had a pair and could tell me if they are good in snow? - they look every bit as practical as the Kodiaks, just a bit fancier.
Oh and another question - it would be fair to say I have well developed calves (or as hubby would say fat legs!) - would that be a problem?

I ordered some of these last week from Shudoo with a 20% off code and they are due to arrive today (fingers crossed) so will let you know. First sprinkling of snow this morning too but not enough to test them out to the max
. I do know the sizing isn't generous and as I vary between 7/8 so have ordered the 8's. 0 -
Question I have is, how flexible is the sole? They look so wedged up and I worry that if your unable to bent your foot as you walk (as you would normally) you end up slurping your feet along the pavement or walking like a maniac clumping your feet up and down, neither of which look safe on the snow or ice!
Be interested too, to see how slip resistant they are when on black ice.0 -
Mine arrived this afternoon and they're fab! I got the quilted shiny black ones. Unfortunately we haven't had any snow (yet) to test them out but I did pop out to Tesco in them and they were very grippy on the moving (flat type) escalator! The soles are flexible just like trainers really. The sizing does run small - I have the 41 / 8 and they are a nice comfortable snug fit. I usually take a 7 in trainers or anything not too narrow. They are also pretty light too and nice and warm (but not been in thick snow yet). Hope this helps.

I wore mine last winter when we had loads of snow and they were brilliant, good grip and kept feet nice and dry.0

I have had the same pair for two years, and we have 8 inches of snow at the moment! Small fit but very warm and cosy, velcro at the top and can be worn without the top part fastened. Never had any leaks with them and they are good in the thick snow, a little slippy on black ice but aren't most apres ski boots?0
