Open to residents of UK, Isle of Man, Channel Isles and The Republic of Ireland aged 18 years or over only, except employees and their immediate families of Kerry Foods Ltd, its agents or anyone professionally connected to the promotion. 2. In the RoI, IoM & CI the Chinese New Year party is not available; all other prizes are available. 3. Draw closing date: midnight GMT 07.01.2011. 4. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. 5. Entries will charged at the entrants’ standard operator/network tariff and may not be included in any text-inclusive package. Text over and above the permitted maximum of 5 entries will still be charged at your standard rate but will not be entered into the prize draw. 7. Bulk entries or entries sent through trade, consumer groups, agents or third parties will not be accepted. If it becomes apparent that participant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’ or any other automated means, that person’s entries will be disqualified and any prize award will be void. 10. Proof of texting or sending is not proof of receipt of entry. Responsibility cannot be accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed, nor for any associated costs to claimants. 11. In the event of any entrants’ mobile number changing or the mobile phone being lost, stolen or damaged we are not able to retrieve and amend any existing entries to a new mobile number. 12. Major prize: 1st Major Prize: There is one luxury trip to Chinatown in Paris to be won. The winner will receive Return flights from London Heathrow to Paris (designated flights) or return Eurostar from St Pancras, Ebbsfleet or Ashford to Paris Gare Du Nord (designated services), return minibus transfers to and from airport and hotel (air arrivals only), 4 nights accommodation at a 4* Hotel in a twin or double room with private facilities on a bed and breakfast basis, Lunch in Chinatown on one day. Travel between 1st February and 31st December 2011, excluding Christmas and Easter. 13. 2nd Major Prize: There is one Chinese New Year Party to be won. The winner will receive the following: supply of Ken Hom chilled meals and meal accompaniments’ for up to 15 people including the winner, a party planner to plan and prepare for a party in the winner’s home (or designated venue provided by winner) to include set up and Chinese themed decorations, food hygiene certificated assistant to prepare food on the premises and serve guests, a brand new microwave. The party to be taken on an agreed date between February 2011 – December 2011. Exclusions apply. 14. Runner up prizes are as follows: 100 Ken Hom 31cm non-stick Gift Set, 50 Ken Hom 31cm non-stick woks, 500 pairs of Ken Hom Tao Easi stix chopsticks, 100 Ken Hom Bamboo Steamer, 100 Ken Hom Sizzling Dish, 100 Ken Hom Nutriwoks, 50 Ken Hom 31cm non-stick carbon steel. 15. The draw will be made at random under independent supervision and the winners notified within 7 days of the closing date of 07.01.2011. If any major prize winner cannot be contacted within 28 days, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel prize entitlement and award the prize to another entrant. 16. Booking of Chinese New Year Party prize is subject to availability. Holiday prizes cannot be taken during public holidays including Easter and Christmas/New Year period. 17. No cash or other alternative prizes are available, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute similar alternatives of equal or greater value. 18. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter the prizes will only be available in the names of the winners. 19. Limitations of liability. Neither the Promoter nor the promotional parties assume any responsibility or liability for: a) Any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions. b) Communication line failures, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers utilized in any aspect of this promotion. c) To the fullest extent allowed by law, the promoter accepts no responsibility for loss or injury as a result of promotional participation or prize acceptance. 20. Participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual found to be acting in any manner deemed by the Promoter to be disruptive. 21. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into. 22. Winners may be required to participate in publicity. 23. I see that the prize is different but the email address details are the same?

I'm not really sure. If you click on their home page then you are given 2 choices of where to go- either the big experiences (left) or the new year party (right) so presumably 2 different comps.

I cannot believe that not a single MSE member has reported winning a prize on this (even just a set of chopsticks).

I am going to contact the Promoters to see if they will release any information other than the major prize winners names.

Just to let everybody know the latest. The promoters have not replied to me despite enclosing a stamped addressed envelope. There is also no sign of a winners list that I requested.

I intend to take this one further starting with the ASA. If there is anyone out there who has had a win from this competition please let me know by updating this thread or by PM. Thank you.

Am puzzled. The text said email my details but how do they know what I have won from my Mobile texting number if I email my name and addy so I have put my moby number as well. Maybe they have picked winners and its pot luck what you get?? I am expecting chopsticks:)

Have phoned Kerry foods and 'whoever ' is in a meeting all day. Forget name of woman I spoke to but she will speak to him and phone me back prob tomorrow
