Cufflink substitute?

DS off to sixth form dinner tonight, got him a nice dress shirt from CS, but can't find DH's cufflinks anywhere!

Any idea what I could use instead. I have one hour :eek:

    Sew 2 buttons together, leaving long loops between them :)

    My daughter had to do this for a band do - no cufflinks 2 sheep buttons each cuff - sorted
    Saving in my terramundi pot £2, £1 and 50p just for me! :j

    My son turned up to a job interview with safety pins instead of cufflinks and I told him not to take off his jacket. He did and out of several hundred got the job anyway hehe:rotfl:
