IVA experiences

I have been advised by CCCS that an IVA may be the best option for me. I know very little about these and wondered if anyone could share their experiences of being on one.
CCCS will be sending me information on all my options but any thoughts (positive or negative) would be welcome to add to the pot to help me decide which way to go.
Thanks.

You went to the right place for advice, and I'm sure they would have told you if they felt that other options - DMP or Bankruptcy were more suitable.
Perhaps if you post your SOA you may get more advice.
Good luck

If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Have a look at this link, it explains how an IVA with payplan works if you have no equity. I recently had my IVA accepted and the procedure was pretty much as in the link. CCCS don't run IVA's themselves so they will be directing you to a reputable Insolvency Practioner instead.

If you post a SOA you will get lots of advice from people as to whether an IVA is suited to your situation.0
