How much are your (fresh) flowers costing?

Hey guys, I'm trying to put together a bit of a budget, but I don't want it to be unrealistic. So... I wondered if people wouldn't mind sharing their costings for their flowers to give me an idea of how much money to set aside.

I know its not very MSE, but i definately want fresh flowers rather than foam or silk.

Thanks!

    Hi,
sorry, can't be of any help yet, we haven't sorted out the cost of our flowers yet (a friend of mine is doing them, but we haven't discussed what we want yet) but they will be fresh! I am hoping we can tell her our budget and work with that.
I'll watch this thread with interest!

    Hi,

I think it can vary quite a lot and we've not decided exactly what we're having yet but the rough guide our florist gave me was £50 for my bouquet, I think £30ish for bridesmaid (may have been a bit more or less), and then £1-3ish for buttonholes depending on the flower.... can't remember exactly, have it all written down somewhere! But then it all depends on the style and flowers you want, obviously if you want somethink exotic/huge it will be more!

My shower of gold roses with Lily of the valley cost me £130, my 4 bridesmaids bouquets was £35 each, buttonholes were £3 each. top table arrangement of gold roses with Lily of the valley was £85. I cant say how much my centrepieces were (very large martini glasses - 16 of them with coloured gel balls and floating geberas and a gold butterfly in each) because they came as part of a package with all my decor x

  • Hi guys, thanks to all of you for this - you've massively put my mind at rest. I was worried that it would end up being £100s and £100s for what we want. I'm glad that its possible to do it reasonably.

    Cheers!
