I specifically opted out of receiving a quote but they rang me anyway. I explained to them that I had asked not to be contacted and they said "we are working on the premise that everyone would want contacting"!

I opted out of phone calls too, and today got them on the phone aargh! Think my name will now not be in the hat to win this haha, good luck to everyone else though and thanks for posting

I got a call too despite saying I didn't want one. I played along to get a quote etc etc but he got a bit arsey when I said that I'd like them to send me the quote in the post since I didn't want to agree to anything over the phone without spending some time reading through it all. I've been conned by npower before by trickster door-to-door salespeople - told I was just getting a quote and was signed up to them without my knowledge. Even if npower reckon they could save me £1000 a year I wouldn't go with them out of principle.

I also got a call despite selecting the no option. I told them I had done so but they insisted there was no such option & that every entrant had to agree to be contacted for a quote. What a load of bull. Hope they're not as persistent as Scottish Power who rang me 6 times in 3 weeks after entering a similar comp! grrrr!1111111

We have had calls to three different mobiles I politely asked them to stop they did not. Yesterday I lost my rag with them :mad::mad:
