Aldi/Lidl VISA DEBIT?

Hi,

hope someone can answer this for certain. My bank has decided to change my Maestro Debit card to a VISA Debit card. I shop a lot at Aldi & Lidl so I know they are fussy about which cards, does any one use a VISA debit in either/both and can confirm they accept them?

(be a nightmare if they dont!)

(before anyone says too, I know they don't take credit cards, not talking about VISA credit card its a VISA debit...thanks!)

Yup - me too! Both Lidl & Aldi have used Visa Debit cards for as long as I can remember.

And I use mine at Aldi.

Yes they do I used mine yesturday when using my 5 pounds off 30 voucher from the newspaper.

My sister lives on on the England/Wales border and says that Lidl accepts credit cards in Wales, but not in England.

In Scotland too, been like it for years.
