missed a call on our comping mobile from a Manchester phone number thats a business centre,(portland tower) after endless searching it all seems to be stockbrokers , recruitment agencies , debs, architects but can't find any comps that ive entered that it could possibly be.
Just wondered if anyone else has had a call (even a sales call so i know to ignore )from 0161 2384900 this morning or recently ?

Yep but its serviced offices, the reception is closed out of hours, without a company name i doubt i will get anywhere but I have now found a full list of companies and there are 2 pr / promotions companies with offices there all the rest as ive said are engineers, quantity surveyors, stockbrokers, solicitors, conveyancers..ipc media have an office there apparently as well.

the mobile is soley given out for comps so it has to be a sales call or a win ...knowing my luck its a sales call

They've been ringing me for a week, finally spoke to them on Friday. It's a holiday company, travel something, saying I'd entered a survey competition and I'd been selected for a 'promotion'. I asked if I'd won a prize, she said no, so I asked if they would delete my details, saying I wasn't intersted and she said ok, sorry to trouble me.

So deffo a junk call, but she was nice about it and said I'd have no further calls from them :cool:

it was just as it was a business centre and the phone number was for the main desk it was impossible for me to tell, normally i google a number and know its spam
but if they have been ringing you as well i'll let it ring

They rang me every day for a week, so it may be worth answering it and telling them to stop ringing if it gets too much. Was a pain as sometimes it just rang once so I couldn't answer it when I wanted to

ah that mobiles on silent anyway it just vibrates away
it very seldom does that either lol, my comping wins are few and far between
Im a bit shy sometimes and grumpy the rest of the time so my wife normally takes all the calls, she does excitement better than me
