Southampton Bridal Shops?

I'm going to visit one of my bridesmaids in Southampton soon and thought we'd do a spot of wedding dress shopping while i'm there.

I don't know the area well so was wondering if anyone can recommend any bridal shops in Southampton or the surrounding area (portsmouth etc)?

My budget is £1000 max so nowhere too posh please!

Thanks,
Sunshine

  • oohhh-Go to the Oxfam bridal shop!!
    Here are the details:
    76/78 High Street, Shirley, Southampton, SO15 3NE
    Telephone: 07969 668939
you have to phone for an appointment, and if no one answers the phone, leave a message and they will call you back. They are SO friendly and lovely and helpful. They have a huge range of dresses and are happy to let you try on whatever you want (I was there for about 2 1/2 hours!). The also have loads of BM dresses too. Not only can you get a bargain (they had a couple Ian Stuart dresses when I was there for less than £200!!) but you would be doing a good thing by buying from a charity shop!
    HTH, good luck x

    Yes...

Wedded Bliss in Dibden, their website is https://www.weddedblissbridalstudio.com

There are also a few places in town https://www.bridesofsouthampton.co.uk & Rena Zhang!

    Good luck!! :)
  • I bought my dress from A Bride To Bee in Warsash. It's a Maggie and it was £950. It came in last week and I picked it up on Friday. They have a great selection and are very friendly!

    Good luck

I'd agree with Me at home, they are really nice there, and they have some lovely dresses (that's where I tried on a £4k Ian Stuart dress ). Really friendly people.
  • I went to Cloud Nine Bridal a few months back and they were very nice there. Good range of dresses and a large sale rail.
