Shared Ownership Mortgage foreign nationals

Hi Guys, I need some advice..I'm currently holding a T1 General visa, still have 23 month to stay in the UK, I'm looking for a shared ownership repayment life time tracker mortgage...I have been told by my broker, saying Woolwich cannot do mortgage for me as I don't have PR, is that true? As I've seen a number of people passed it with T1 general visa. Could anyone give me some advice on this please? Thanks! I'm a first time buyer, and I'm looking for 75% LTV repayment lifetime tracker mortgage(>=25 years)... And other good bank offers I could give a try?

Many thanks to your time!!:A

I recommend Halifax as I managed to get a mortgage from them with just a year left on my tier1 visa.
They don't care about visa as long as you make it into their "A" or "B" overall rating and have (I think) 3 years of work history.

But I would talk to a whole market fee free broker about your case. They really helped me when my bank turned me down.
