It is £20 in Argos. but they are black colour like the picture, the one we just bought from Poundstretcher at £12 are cream coloured. They actually have a big sticker saying £15 but they went in at £12.
Not the largest but great for a one person meal.

Just been and bought one. My oven's broken so this will do just for now, at the cost of one takeaway!
It's cooked some chicken nuggets as quickly as the big oven would have done. Not sure about anything more adventurous as it's only got a 15 minute timer so we'd have to keep switching it back on again lol!
We got a different one, priced at £12, but went thru at £10. It's roughtly the same size etc, but silver. The make is AFK.*** Friends are angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly ***

It is an oven so compared with an oven it's no difference. If you want to know how many watts it is then press the link and it says 620watts.Mumstheword wrote:How much electricity do these use, compared to cooking in an oven?Cash ISA rate 6.5% fixed for 2 years. Its not. Taking a tent is camping. Camping does not mean you have to lose all ur home comforts and the more civilised the better for some. Nearly all modern sites have electric hook up and once paid for you might as well get your moneys worth with electric kettle, lighting etc.samgoffe wrote:Hows taking a oven camping :undecided

Think I am off to our local poundstretcher - our grill packed up while my mum was house sitting while we were on holiday and now having cravings for cheese on toast! No I'm not pregnant:rotfl:
If I can get one this should see us through till we either repair the grill or buy a new oven. Think the new oven option will be better in the long run as a replacement grill element is nearly £50.00 plus labour plus call out.0 -
Of course scientifically it will use a lot less electricity as it has to heat up the surface area less than a larger oven will do in the same time.
It wont cook a dinner for four but will heat up chips nicely or half of a large pizza. Nuggets like mentioned before, toast, jacket potato, etc. Just small things.
Me and the wife are moving into a bedsit and we bought another one 2 days ago
