Love2shop vouchers

Really sorry if this in the wrong section, had no idea where to put it

My aunt dropped my christmas gift off this afternoon, £50 in love2shop vouchers. But for some reason (totally unknown to me) she's seperated the tabs from the mains. and THEN put them in the envelope.

My mum's told me i can just tape them and use them, because they're scanned to ensure one use.
However my friend who works in Boots has told me they're void now and can't be used anywhere.

Can i use them? or are they ruined now?

They clearly state on them "Voucher is void if detached". I'd send them to Love2shop and ask them for replacements.

No, it doesn't.
It says Void if sticker is removed (referring to a small sticker on the small tab)
& then says that they shouldn't be detatched by the customer..not that it's void.

Scanning doesn't prevent multiple use, all the barcodes will be the same. Therefore they look for the voucher being intact and not being scribbled on to check its valid.

I used £20 worth today and they accepted them.
I guess different places deal with them in different ways.
