New Canon EOS 450 + 2 lenses £489

The argos clearance website on ebay has the Canon EOS 450D plus two lenses 18-55mm and 55-250mm (both with image stability) for £489. It's not the latest model anymore although the 55-250mm lens retails for £175+ by itself which makes this a good starter kit for anyone thinking of buying a first DSLR.

Brilliant camera. Had it a couple of years and love it.

very good price and excellent bit of kit.

Have the 400d still, but now have 24-105l and 70-200l.

next step is a 7d or 5d mk2 - can't decide. and waiting to see what comes out next.

I still have a 400d and my wife has a 450d. Next stop for me is going to be a 60d, hopefully there'll be some offers after Christmas. The 7d and 5d Mk2 are nice, but a little too expensive...
