I walked past this house today, I know it is in Oldham, and it is cold up there, but I fell in love with it icon9.gif Stunning views over Dovestones reservoir. We guessed at about £1 million and it is only £800k (substantially reduced).

You could have some excellent parties there and I doubt the neighbours would complain about the noise icon7.gif

keep your dirty parties to yourself steve.... ;)
  • The scenery is stunning but the house leaves a lot to be desired.
It may look ok on the outside but personally I think the inside's a bit naff.

I think outside its a mans' house. Nothing wrong with that. In side doesn't matter, I didn't even look to closely because rushing but: it changes with whoever moves in.

£800k is a bargain compared to things I've seen. Get it steviej :)
  • My modest house is worth more than that! What's it like living in Oldham? Do I need a cloth cap?

Very nice but would cost a fortune to heat in the winter, all those big rooms and high ceilings.

Buying Barclays at a good price & selling BP before the crash.
Before long, you'll be able to purchase the house outright Stevie.
  • Lovely house, don't you get a lot for your money in Oldham?! What's it like up there?
