Cheers, may do.
The problem I have is my head is quite big (!) so I always have a really limited choice of frames that are broad / long enough.
Hopefully, as the size of the UK population increases, so will the size of the glasses!
I had no problems with Select specs other than I ordered 3 pairs and only one was big enough for my (big)head.
The ones I ordered from Specy4eyes, however, fit fine. Simply take your glasses off, measure them and compare them with the sizes shown online. I'm actually wearing mine now - the Bench designer ones. They have taken some abuse (I have 5 kids and work in Engineering!) and they are fine.I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

I bought the ASDA 2 for £2, one of the pair is only 12cm wide too small for an average face.More0

Thanks OP! My boyfriend has needed a new pair of glasses for ages now and really can't say no at this price.0

It seems you can order more than one pair and only pay one lot of postage. So £7.99 one pair, £11.99 for 2 pairs etc0 -

Yeah, thanks, already done that and they're all too small still. The only one's that are big enough are in styles I don't likeUnfortunately half the stuff on the website has a width of 0 mm as well which is obviously wrong but not helpful.
I live in hope one day they'll sort the website our and / or do an offer for people of a larger head persuasion.
I've also noticed that a lot of the frames they do are no cheaper than the high street, particularly as I get 50% off at Boots / D&A opticians (as a contact lens plan customer).0 -

I'm wearing my old glasses from selectspecs now, they're fine. Comfy and don't look bad (they look a lot better than the NHS range in stores). Cheap enough to get a few pair to spread around the house/try out different styles, too.0 -

Oh no, hadn't realised that (that's what I get for skipping the rest of the thread in my haste to order!!) I shall keep that in mind next time he needs a pair... I am hoping he doesn't put them through too much abuse for once though!0
