Thank you very much Darren21! Just bought a 512MB DDR400 stick of RAM for £45 with your voucher. Would have been £50 from Ebuyer if not for that. I have been looking for an excuse to upgrade to 1GB!
Cheers

It seems RAM has just dropped in price. Can now get a 512MB DDR400 stick of RAM for £42.85 with the 4% code! Cheap as chips! (excuse the pun)The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing:)0

JPS wrote:Not at all I'm afraid. Darren is totally right. Crucial is ten times better than elixir crap and MD for that matter.
What is the difference between the two then? Is it a performance related thing, and if so, how can you check whether one performs better than another?
I've used several different brands of memory in various machines and to be honest, I can't say I've ever noticed any difference between them ... apart from price
I've also placed numerous orders with MD and again, never experienced any problem with either their service or goods, and everything has been delivered next day if it's in stock. Can't say the same for Aria though "An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"
