Tesco groceries - delivery slots available for Christmas

I just had an email from Tesco to advise me that Christmas Delivery slots are now available...I have managed to book a slot on the 23rd December between 10 and 12 :j

    all dependant on the weather :).

    We had a delivery booked for Friday 3-5pm........snow fell........5pm came and went.......checked online......order showing as delivered........rang C/S........wheres our order..........oh they turned back due to the weather.........you didnt tell us........oh very sorry.....

    No, it just means some of the favoured few (I'm not one of them...:D) are given the facility to book Christmas slots before they go on general release for the rest of us plebs. Some may have been filled before 'we' can book them, but otherwise they will become available for us too...eventually.
