Fixed term contract and mortgage

Is it possible to get a mortgage if you have a four year fixed term job contract?

Conditions:
Large deposit
Low LTV
Good credit history - No defaults, credit cards paid in full each month, history of paying a mortgage
Six months of mortgage payments in savings

I think what I should've asked is: how likely is it that I'll be able to get a mortgage whilst on a 4 year fixed term contract

I think Halifax will be your best bet, out of the main high street lenders
