Debate House Prices
In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non MoneySaving matters are no longer permitted. Just had a quick look at HPC for my daily fix of nutty goodness. There is a thread about moderation of comments on news articles on the guardian website. Some poster's comment has been removed (from the guardian page) and the muppets are all up in arms about their freedom of speech, political bias and brainwashing by the media. You couldn't make up irony like this!

Yes, but all that means is "someone who was right"....:D“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

I was particularly appalled by the thread mocking the death of Bernard Matthews.0

I would have made my point about the hypocrisy on HPC itself, but I can't, because ironically my posts get moderated due to not being bearish enough.0 -

I haven't seen that thread, but my first thought when I saw the news was that some turkeys would be celebrating. I decided that that was definitely not worth posting, though. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
HPC reject No.4 signing in.... any more?
P.S. Sibley, have you bought that chalet yet?
Sorry Gloomy. I decided 8 hours of test cricket was more enjoyable than spending time chatting to you today. :rotfl:We love Sarah O Grady0 -

What was the point of posting this?
It's like a really badly failed trolling attempt.0
