26 november daily chat, i think this snow has everyone hiding under the duvet

Hi everyone

i'm not used to being on the computor this early in the morning but i have 3 children off school and the snow is lying quite deep here. Dont want to go out unless i have too , its freezing out there! think i will make hot pot for tea.

morning Ames. Loads of snow here, its been snowing quite heavy for the past hour. Put my coat on just to take the rubbish out and came back in looking like a snowman!!! kids are loving it, i'm getting a bit fed up of it now.

What you up to today, going to do some more writting?

My cold hasn't developed yet, though i work up with a real raspy throat, thought it must be about 5am - it was 3.30!! so i was awake for a couple of hours....then woke up at 9.30

just about everyone in this house has a cold at the moment
hubby says he has the star of a sore throat and he's just had his flu jab. The doctors say it doesn't give you the flu but nearly everyone i know who has had it has gotten a bad cold after it.

LMC, I'm not sure how mum is, I'm going to phone after lunch to give chance for the doctor to have done his rounds.

Sue, yep, more writing - there are 4 competitions ending next week that I want to enter. And I need to do some more OU work, but since it's so interesting it's almost like a fun break to do it.

Thanks for that Little Sue. My GPs surgery have sent me an invitation to have a flu jab - I'm not keen, I only have mild asthma and then only usually if you lock me in a room with a cat!

Have rang up about loft insulation today and I can get it for £99 and more importantly before Christmas :j:j:j. I can see a warm holiday at home!

Now have to sort out my broadband and go job hunting with my CV. My friend rang me yesterday at college with a 2 day a week admin job, well below my capabilities he said but hey if its money I might manage to finish my course before I run out of money.
