Spotted this great deal on the new Assassin's Creed game (for both PS3 & Xbox 360) from a link on the EMPIRE film website.

Subscribe to Empire for 6 months for £19.99 and get the game for FREE (Worth a good £35+ in the shops at the moment)! Of course you get 6 months of Empire magazine included too which might be up your street anyway.

Remember to cancel the Direct Debit after you've received your final issue, otherwise they'll start charging you full price for the magazine.

Not sure how long they would take to dispatch the game - it does say it could be up to 28 days, so if you're wanting it pronto, maybe this isn't for you...however if time isn't of major concern you can order it now for an almost certain pre-xmas delivery - a good pressie for someone!

any one done this?? says first available issue is next year so wondering when they would send the game..

also says mimimum subscription is 12 months,,

and says have the right to swap the free gift also...

was looking for this game for a xmas present and with £5 quidco could be a good price..

just seems alot of things could go wrong

Maybe could be worth a call to them to check. I've already got the game so won't be taking up this offer myself, but I'd imagine it's fairly legit. Having said that the T&Cs are confusing as you say...

minimum subscription is 1 year so it will be a minimum of £40 you'd have to pay for the game and magazine. I'm not sure how it would work if you cancelled after 6 months though

if you have to pay the £40 and dont want empire its just under £33 on shopto

i'm not sure, you can buy 6 months + the game but just above that it clearly says 12 months minimum :undecided
