Hello!
Just a lurker at the moment, but been really enjoying the advice on both the websites and forums and just wanted to see if you could help me on this chilly day!
Looking for toys for my two nephews who are 1 on Jan and 3 currently. Both are boys but have NO idea what to get them and not got a very big budget as the jobs I were pursuing weren't happening (not enough experience and date commitments for college, sadly).
Budget to £50-60, and not sure what they like as everyone else seems to have them covered but don't want the only one to not be able to spend on their nephews.
Thanks for reading

Hi I have a 2 1/2 year old boy and a girl almost 1 so we're at similar age range. For a 3 year old boy, you can't go wrong with Toy Story, Disney Cars, Mickey Mouse, and cars and trains in general! You could get 1 more expensive toy then some stocking fillers for each of them.
Happyland Rocket + Moonbase £15

Talking Buzz Lightyear (or Woody) £20

For the 1 year old boy, toys with lights and sound / music are good.
My First Guitar £12.99

Steering Wheel £12.99

Remember, kids don't need expensive toys. They would much rather spend time with you and play with you. So don't worry about not spending enough money on them, etc. it's the thought that counts.0 -
I second that for the 3yr old, anything cars or trains related, thomas the tank or chuggington. My 3yr old enjoys doing puzzles too so that might be an idea.Elc are doing a car garage for 17.50 reduced from 35quid.
For the one yr old something like this http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.205-1811.aspx or http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.207-3816.aspx:hello:0 -
for 3 year old b and m stores have fireman sam kit helicopter figures car and engine for bout 20 and get more figure set for a fiver. My 3 year old got this for his birthday in june and its been his fav present of all time even my 1 yr old boy plays with it all the time. I have 4 kids and the amount of toys i bin or fire at school thrift sales every few months is absolutely ridiculous and usually ones that have cost loads of money go first as they just dont play with them!! Wouldnt be worrying about spending that amount of money its buying smart!! Bought my 1 year old a vtech bounce giraffe for xmas 25 quid in sale sainsburys and reckon that be a hit as he plays on zebra one in toddlers all the time!! Have a look on grabbit sight as peole all add there banter to the toys on offer you bound to be best auntie!!0

When my boy was 3 I bought him a Duplo Lego set, its durable, won't break and they will grow with it. He's now 7 and has only just stopped playing it. Money well spent as I sold the set on ebay for more than what I paid for it as well!!To be in your child's memories tomorrow, be in their life today.0

All six of my children adored Roger Priddy's books. They are very simple, photos of everything you can think of such as fruit or cars etc but they would sit for ages scouring the pages and picking a "favourite" on each page. There used to be "baby and toddler's big book of everything" but I think that is out of print now, if you search on Amazon for roger priddy you'll get an idea of the type of thing I mean, the big book of animals / first 100 series used to be in TK Maxx a lot when I was buying, my youngest is nearly 6 now so outgrown them, but would highly recommend.0
