Self Cert Remortgages

Any of these still available?

To give a little history, parents are splitting (maybe divorced)
Dad does not want to sell the house, but needs to give money to my mam.
He is self employed but the business is not doing that good. he has assessets of another property (business shop)
I have offered to cover the payments for mortgage, so that everything is as pain free for them both....
any advise would be gratefully received

    If you can cover the payments are you not in a position to take on the mortgage? Purchase the property from them I mean.

    If he wants to keep the place and intends to move out, let to buy is an option where no income proof is required. There is absolutely nothing illegal about this. Also with let to buy some schemes are available to age 90 whereas ordinary residential mortgages are typicaly up to age 65 unless the applicant has substantial pension in place which in this day is increasingly rare.
