Booked the honeymoon!

Well I was having a slow day in work, so decided to do a bit of research into the honeymoon- we knew we wanted to go on a cruise- and from the uk (no flights) because oh has a flying phobia. so i was doing some surfing on the net, and thought i would pop into the travel agents after work- work finished at 4.30- and travel agents closed at 5.30- got to travel agents at 5.10 and thought i would just pop in to get some leaftets- but the cruise specialist was there- and next thing i knew it was 6.50pm ! and i was going home having booked the honeymoon!
feel a lilttle bad on oh coz i did it alone- but we would have gone for what i picked anyway

so the wedding is on sat 23rd july- we get on the coach on the 31st july to southampton (free return coach journey
and sail from southampton- for 12nights

little tiny bit gutted that i have to go back to work for a week- but with the face we had to go from the uk- and obviously can only go when the ship sails- it slightly restricted us- we could have gone the day after the wedding, but we didnt want that.
so this means we get a week in work, then go on honeymoon

its a 12 night med cruise-
so going to:
barcelona, villefrance, rome, florence, pisa, and gibraltor.
sailing from southampton on the p & o cruise ship aurora.

We're in the same boat - boom boom! Our cruise sails the week after we get married too but I'll be damned if I go back to work! Probably going to use up all my holiday entitlement but hey ho! OH will probably go back to his work though.

prob we have is that my best friend may be getting married in cyprus in september- n we are going- so thats another weeks hol- and our hols in wrk run financial year.
so not sure really- going to take a day before the wedding off- and loads of bank hols running up to the wedding, so can chill then hehe

Oh just noticed your going on P&O - ours is Ventura, be interesting to see what you think of it! Mines not til next November so come back with your verdict!

Someone asked me if I was taking the day off before and I was like 'eh why', then I realised OMG getting married is not as simple as I thought and I'll probably be stressed out my head.

i suppose it will be the last min things- like taking stuff to the venue, beauty stuff (nails etc)
