Advise please: Want a big purchase at Argos but get as many vouchers as possible

Hello all,

Could someone please advise me, i am looking to purchase a new three peice for my ex and will be spending around £500 or so.
I'd like to try and get the £50 worth of vouchers that i would if they allowed £10 per £100, but they only allow one voucher per sale.
Is there any way of getting the vouchers? Could i buy 5 separate £100 vouchers and then get the £10 voucher off them?
Advise concerning this would be most appreciated as i am hoping to purchase it arounds the end of this month for her, thats if it can be delivered before Christmas!

Thank you in advance

Yes you could go in and buy seperate £100 in vouchers and get your freebie voucher therefore you would get £50 off when you go to buy it at the end of the month. The only time you dont qualify for a vouvher is if you are buying vouchers with vouchers ( I THINK )
Hope you get it anyways Good Luck
  • You would actually get £60. 5*£10 for the five £100 gift cards you bought, then when you bought the sofa you'd get another £10 card.

Buying a three piece for your ex??? £500??? Why not spend the money more wisely and get "mug" tattooed across your forehead?
Just because you used to be you think everybody else is, don't you?

Yes he could good point providing that he buys the suite on or before the 29th October as the voucher promotion finishes then
  • If you cannot do this at argos why not try an order it at homebase website?
If you have a spend and save card you may be lucky and find the 3 piece there at the same price and earn a few quid in homebase vouchers.
    Argos/homebase are linked

Good luck to you mate for getting it delivered in time for Xmas, my friend after parting with her cash this summer was told 4 weeks, then another 4 weeks were added, a £5 discount was given after complaint (full 3 piece ordered)
Arrived 14 weeks after the first order.

You buy £100 worth of Argos vouchers each time. Therefore this counts as 5 transactions for £500.

Then when you spend the £500 of vouchers you get another £10 for that transaction.

Altogether you have made 6 transactions and for each transaction you get £10.

    £10 x 6 = £60
