Ooops - finished Mockingbird last night despite good intentions to do some studying
I have the Hitchhikers guide series but haven't read it yet. However I did listen the whole series as radioplay (in Finnish) about 20 years ago. Next on my list is another book by Douglas Adams: Last chance to see but I shan't open it until after my exam(naughty girl...)
I would like to suggest a book to read at some point: Nicolas evans: The Loop but perhaps we would like to have something a bit more cheerful before tackling it."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

Hi guys,
I do have TKAMB but have not even managed to start it yet - have been busy doing too many other things (and still feel so tired that I drop off to sleep almost immediately). Shall read during weekend - and a PhD thesis that need to be examined on Tuesday.
Sea, do you speed read? Yopu have been going through books like anything? Please share.

Did Hitchhikers Guide years ago, may need to re-buy now.
Was Given 'Adrian Mole, the Prostate Years' a while ago.....so had to read the whole lot again. Forgotten how funny they were. Prostate Years a bit close for comfort though:eek:
Just bought 'One Day' from WHS. Rare for me to buy new but it sounds intriguing. Its on the best-sellers shelves which are buy1 get 1 half-price.:D stay wonky

I loved HHGTTG when I read it in my mid teens, I've got a boxed set of it I've been meaning to reread for ages.
I love Nick Hornby, I read Slam a couple of months ago, and Juliet, Naked for one of my book clubs not long ago, he's so astute and funny with it.
I'm currently reading A Week In December by Sebastian Faulks, but I've left it in the car and it's too cold to go out and get it! I'm really enjoying it.
I've been very, very naughty - Awesome Books have a sale on, buy three bargain bin books and get one free. I've ordered 12! At £1.79 it's such a good deal, especially since there's loads of hardbacks by my favourite authors. I've ordered some stuff by authors I've never really tried before too (like Dolores Claiborne by Steven King). I really need to get reading to bring down the to read piles!Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

Not as much as Gerald's Game though _pale_A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

I don't think so - I do read quickly, but Slam was very easy to read, as was TKAMB. I think the Hitchhikers will be slower because they're more complicated!Off to read some more in the bath now. xxx

Thanks for the ebook link I have bookmarked it but I am reading Stephen Frys autobiography that I bought for my OH slow going because I only read it in the morning in bed when he is having a shower as I don't want to take it as he has not finished it yet - he does know I am reading it
As soon as I am finished I will read TKAM
