The Big Top Cup Cakes which are much cheaper on various sites on line and small retail outlets will undoubtly be manufactuered with inferior quality silicone which is actually a risk to health. When the mould made up of cheaper silicon materials is heated up to a certain temperature, it would start to release chemicals which are really not suitable for human consumption. Worst still, the silicon used might not even be food-grade at all. It is highly likely that these items are only available online and small outlets becuase there is no requirement for the seller to provide the necessary EU test certificates that show it has passed the various food grade tests0

you can get these from bargain madness too
this is my recipie but i dont really measure or mix right, so its a very rough guide. it fills both sides and leaves me with a bit left over
 550g plain flour
 6 tsp baking powder
 150g caster sugar
 4 medium eggs
450 ml milk (if doing choc i add approx 10-12 tbsp coco to this)
 220g butter
then what ever else i feel like, sometimes about 300g choc chips or whatever takes my fancy
i either cream butter sugar sift in flour whip in eggs then add rest or ingrediants
 or
shove it all in a bowl and mix
200c for approx 25-30 mins, i usually whip off the top of each side when its cooked a bit so it cooks faster and i get to taste it sooner!
then whack the heat up until its cooked through..(/(/
