Bank ac with DCA, but refunded bank charges

im confused about this, they have made my account an enquiry service only and they are paying the money straight back into my account which will put me about £160 ish in credit, how will i get this money or will they be !!!!!! bout giving it me, anyone know??

im in a dmp and it has been passed to a dca but is being managed in my dmp. when i had to sign the form it was to be paid into my account. have i made a big mistake here or will they actually send me a cheque?? anyone know

    Congratulations on getting the money back (!). I would give them a call and find out what they'll do. I would have thought that as they haven't closed the account, they'll remove the 'enquiry service only' from it, so you'll be able to withdraw against it.

    If they're not helpful on the phone, I'd write a letter.

    thanks for replying. i went to use my card today to see if it would show me a balance and it was kept at request of my bank lol.

    i can still log in online to see the balance but its with a DCA, but maybe its their own DCA to scare you, as i was told a lot of companies have their own agencies lol

    If you're using a company to conduct the DMP, then it will more than likely be their own third party services department (my bank does this). Also, if you only got the notification on Friday or yesterday, then I expect things will start happening tomorrow.

    i got the letter friday, sent it off yesterday so they should get it tomo all being well, our post office is usually quite good
