Sorry to tell you your not allowed to invite people to PM you to discuss opportunities, it does count as self promotion.Suggest you amend your post.;)

Their is already a very useful and informative long thread here on party planning

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/577567

I am not sure why we need another one.:D

A lot of companies on your list never did party plan, and a few of them have gone out of business for one reason or another.

This site which has been mentioned on here quite a few times gives an up to date list of opportunities.

Jenny .If she didnt break the site rules their would be no cause for complaint, and her posts would not be removed by abuse this is not the first times its happened.
Hmm not sure what rules you mean? I just see that others offer advice and tell people what they are doing and that seems to be accepted so how is this any different please?

    What values?
Lots of them :) Chemical free products, eco friendly packaging - I love all of that :) The one hat I really love though is the soap :) If you have a look on there you can see about their soap :) Their soap is made out in Africa,(if I remember rightly) - the company help people to start their own business and gain independence :) I love that - I love it when people/companies help others like this.
    That's why I like the company :)

It is slightly disheartening that in the making money section there are links to things that appear to be outright criminal, which the board monitors seem to overlook, yet when people want to give advice about things that they might have an interest in, they get into a lot of trouble.

I recently started working for a parties at home company but got into trouble for posting a referral link that I could have benefitted from by 20. I posted it more to find someone else to share tips with, yet at the same time, Martin´s own site post links to things that appear to be robbing people blind

(I´m talking of Weeebuy, who are endorsed by Martin´s site in http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/family/make-money, yet according to the feedback on the forum, have been simply taking computers etc from people and not paying for them)

They are only in business to make money. Why else do they bother.

Its just a direct sales outfit that sells eco friendly products to whoever wishes to purchase the goods via self employed distributors earning the least they can get away with paying them.

They dont get into a lot of trouble their post is only normally removed if they are advertising/ promoting or recruiting which is against site rules.

    "ADVERTISING

This site is free from advertising. Posts on any board considered to be advertising goods, services and/or companies will be removed. We also do not allow advertising via PM

Examples of this can include anything from a specific sales post or a link to your own website in which you attempt to sell something to someone offering their holiday home to forum members. Unfortunately we cannot allow any advertising of any description no matter how honourable the intention."

If you had wanted help you can normally post a link to the main site as long as its not yours without problems but not a referal link from which you benefit.

The only place you can post referal links is in the referal forum.

As for weeebuy have you drawn it to the attention of mse via abuse so they can look into it.

It's a business similar to others but the difference is that they pay more to their distributors, everyone benefits from their green stamps system including the customers and if you are looking to earn some extra money in this way why not join a company that are helping the environment and providing chemical free products at the same time??
I honestly don't see the problem here?!

Am I being dense, I'm not a big fan of using forums for self promotion and I hope I only use it to gather info and advice; but what counts as spamming etc. I think a few people have received a hard time for discussing what works for them. You cant just keep the forum for moaning and complaining, how absolutely boring, surely its good to hear about people who are passionate about what they do and why. If you really think a thread is self promotion/spam then ignore it, dont give it anymore air time. Isn't there a reporting system on here for that and leave it to the people in charge to sort it. Personally I want to come on here and pick up advice not trawl through threads of over opinionated arguments. Personally I like the advice given out good, bad and ugly.
I suppose I have just opened myself up to abuse, hey ho, go for it, you'll only be ignored.
Keep up the good work 'home consultants'.

If they continually flout the site rules to promote their product or recruit what do you expect. What dont you understand about this site being free of advertising?
