John Lewis Price match question

We purchased a Tv from John Lewis a week ago, it has now been reduced in their store by £70 as well as in Comet by £60.

I do not think they will price match against comet as comet do not include a 5 year warranty in their price.
However I wondered if they will price match against themselves for thelower price.

Has anyone any experience of this?

Yes, They will pricematch with their own price. We did this just recently with a TV. They actually reduced the price twice and refunded the difference twice. The first time I contacted them by email and by phone to the store the second time. Altogether we received £149 back.
As long as it is within 30 days. You will need the Customer Requirement No. from your receipt. We definitely try to buy from John Lewis for this reason and for the guarantee. I hope this helps you.:D
