  • I really would not advise ordering from leapfrogstore.co.uk or if you do be CERTAIN it is what you want. I made the mistake of thinking that as i ordered online if it wasn't suitable i would be able to return it. THIS COMPANY WILL NOT OFFER RETURNS - even if still sealed in the packet. The toy i bought is totally unsuitable for my son - he is just 3 and the toy says 3+ . Also the packaging says 6 games - there are only 3. BAsically i just received a very rude email telling me tough. As the toy is working fine they will not accept for refund (or as i was asking for , an exchange). I guess this is within their rights and i could kick myself for not having clarified earlier - especially as i was tossing up between them and Toys R US - Stupidly i thought i would be able to return to them more easily if necessary (we don't have a Toys R Us near us). I have never known a company not refund inappropriate toys before. Additionally - and to add insult to injury - the box was delivered in a terrible condition - ripped, squashed, definitely a return from elsewhere but apparently that i tough too!! I will definitely NOT be ordering from this company again - despite their good prices.

Liberty, surely this can't be right as you've more rights when buying online than on the high street due to the Distance Selling Regulations.

Have you had a look at MSE's Consumer Rights guide?

Write them a letter with the information you get from the above guide even if it's been a while since you bought the product, phone Trading Standards or Consumer Direct as well and ask them about your rights.

Long distance selling regulations, state you have 7 days in which to return.
