Beef and blood!

I am cooking some roast beef, it looks cooked, the meat isnt pink but the juices are still a bit bloody, is there problem with that? I was gonna leave it another half hour as i've put the spuds in with it.

    i expect the outside is cooked but it is a bit rare in the middle, if you put it to rest whilst the spuds cook it will probably cook the middle bit with residual heat, it does need to rest for 1/2 an hour before eating or it will be a bit tough! if it still seems s bit rare in the middle you can put the rest back in the oven for a bit after you have eaten the outside, i wouldnt recoment this with any other meat but beef can be eaten rare, jane

    I find that too, sometimes. I don't think there is a problem except the look of it, but if you leave it a tad longer the juices should cook too - very quickly I would say.
    Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.

    me too, much nicer that way. Beef too well done doesn't have the same taste, it's not nearly as nice!
