Voluntary Termination Help Urgent.
hey guys i phoned my finance company to vt my car in september and a guy came from glasgow and checked the car and said that it was fine.
now its a 53 plate car and had a few scratches and a couple of really small dents which is common on an 8yr old car but the finance company have sent me a letter saying that i owe them £870 to repair the scratches and the little dents.
they are also saying that the engine management light is on which is very wierd coz for the 2 and a half years i had no probs with it and when the guy came to check it he said it was fine apart from the scratches and the little dents and he said not to worry bout it, as for the engine light that could have happened when he drove it from my house in aberdeen to the auction place in glasgow so i am very unsure what i can do.
plz help.

ignore the engine light issue, anything that happened after the car was taken away isnt your problem,as fpr £870 for scratches and dents i`d ask them to justify the cost, then use it as a starting point to settle for far less0

Yep don't pay anything until you've seen a complete break down of costs to repair the car.
This is a very common thing these crooks do. You'll find they have a very tidy arangement with a local "repair centre" who can charge what they want."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0 -
If he didnt take photos, say what dents and scratches...0
