Mortgage offer. Do we get a paper copy or just solicitor?

Our mortgage advisor told us yesterday that he had an email through saying the mortgage had been offered to us. I know as of today the solicitor hadn't had their copy.
Do we get a copy as well or does it only go to the solicitor?
Thanks

You will get the original to sign and then send back to the bank and will also have a copy to keep for yourself. Well that is how it worked for me anyway.0 -

Broker has had his copy by email.
Solicitor will get a fax and postal copy.
You will get a postal copy.
Your broker should have sent a copy to the solicitors when they received it to speed things up.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Thanks - I'm not sure if the solicitor has had a fax copy - this is something I will chase up tomorrow.
The mortgage advisor texted me to say he had had an email, he isn't due back at work until Friday as he is on holiday but checked his emails and let me know.
It's only been a day or so - so I expect to get a paper copy in the next few days. We have to exchange by the 6th December so really want things to be hurried along a bit.
Thanks again:rotfl:0 -
You should get your copy by Friday.
I send a copy to the solicitors as soon as I receive an offer, often they have it already but better to have 2 than none!!
It is possible the broker has not yet received the offer, just confirmation it has been agreed.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
