Help with male stocking requests

Options
Am after ideas of how to fill christmas stockings for my two boys. I have done them 1 each since they were little with silly bits and bobs but with one 22 two days before Christmas and one 17 now what on earth do I fill stockings with?

Any suggestions gratefully received!

  • Hi there

I am in the process of making a stocking for my boyfriend and am including things like a cd from his favourite band, those mini lynx bullet things, a selction of his favourite sweets and a joke book, not sure of any of these things would suit your sons.

how about a cash stash, then maybe put a £5 note in it ready for a christmas drink.

I've put one in my partners stocking and he's 28.

I would make sure you still include some of the silly bits you always have done as this is what they will associate stockings with.

    how about:
    whoppie cushion
    shower gel
    rocket balloons
one of those wooden puzzles (home bargains have them for 99p)
    snow in a tube
    chocolate orange
    chocolate coins
    one of thse polystyrene planes
    ball in a cup game
joke things (i.e pepper chewing gum etc)
    a torch keyring
a coin stash keyring (or one for notes so they always have emergancy money on nights out)
    marbles
    paddle ball game
    bouncy ball
  • for ss who is 17 we're going to put in some chocolate coins as with all the children.

I'm hoping to get a starbucks mug with some nice coffee, maybe some browm sugar cubes too and wrap it all up, I haven't found a set to buy yet. Might do that for the oh too, they both like coffee.

    Maybe some gloves too.

He's not easy to buy for! His tastes change all the time, the only thing that is consistant is the expensive price tag! I was hoping to find some little quirky things...

I wanted one of the finger print sets with a booklet to show you how to turn them into pictures but oh wasn't impressed :rotfl: I thought it would be a quirky gift...

will watch this thread with interest :)

  • Hello all!

My son is almost 14 and so far have brought him some reindeer poop from Whittards, some jelly stuff from Lush one of those smartie penguins and a swearing punchbag... he's always wanted one and we found one in a gadgets shop!

The one thing to mind with Starbucks is that you check what type of coffee it is.... hubby brought me a pack last year and they were whole beans which needed grinding!

The link above for keyboard etc. cleaner looks a good product, but the seller has had loads of negative feedback for non delivery, so I'm not going to bother, but will look out for it in the shops!

    Hope that helps slightly!

i wouldnt bother for that agegroup for little bits of tat that they will lose interest in.

I would wrap some presents and put them from me. I think stockings are more for kids.
