I have some oat flour which I would like to use in baking. Is anyone able to suggest reliable recipes for breads, cakes or biscuits or point me to a site where i can find recipes.

Sorry can't suggest any recipes, but would also love some ideas for using different types of flour.
In the meantime, could you perhaps amend an existing recipe and substitute maybe 10-20% of normal suggested flour with the oat flour ?
Might work ok, have tried this with rice flour and its turned out fine :T

I think I will have to try that. Wasnt sure how much to substitute or if it would make cakes and bread heavy and doughy. What I have is like fine ground oatmeal - thought it might make a good oaty loaf if i add to wholemeal bread flour but not sure how much.0

Hi Valbuk,
When I make a 350g loaf in the BM,I always substitute 50g of flour for oatmeal. You need to add more water than usual, but it gives a nice loaf.Is fine oatmeal the same as oat flour?
