Have had a similar issue with my return to Shudoo. Had a difficult time getting label off them, despite the website saying free returns when I ordered. Posted it on 29/11 and apparently still not delivered, yet alone refunded. Would not recommend using if you are likely to want to return anything (just my personal opinion but really need the refund!)

I returned some Uggs which were £150.00 and paid £8.65 to return them, next day, signed and tracked. I emailled javari the tracking number the next day when it said package had been delivered on Royal Mail website, they processed refund straight away and refunded the £8.65 in addition without any quibble. Cant fault them.

As mentioned on post 28(i think),i have no issue with Javari, and in fact im very impressed with how they dealt with my return(getthelabel.com also very good),our issue is with Shudoo.

Not disputing that just further validating how good Javari are in comparision to Shudoo.

An update on the Shudoo returns, it is now nearly two weeks since I used their returns service (posted 29/11) and apparently the boots still haven't even arrived! So I guess I'll be very lucky to get a refund from Shudoo before Xmas. For now I am just hoping they will get there at all. Will definitely shop with Javari next time round!
  • i had problem with another company before, rubbersole. they said my order has been delivered and left in a certain place ( there were few of us from mse) but is no where to be found. i sent them email several times but no response. in the end i emailed them that if they cannot sort out my complaint i will call my credit card and cancel my transaction with them... they eventually replied and refunded...such a poor service as there is no way u can contact them except thru email and facebook.

cannot fault javari customer service. as its part of amazon as well. they will also refund the cost of return.
so from now on, shudoo and rubbersole will be on my list of company to avoid.
i wish i have live my life a little bit off the book, took a chance and gamble
  • I had a really quick refund from Javari last time but I sent my boots back on the 2nd and havent had refund yet. I used recorded delivery so I was able to check that they had received them on Monday 6th so i emailed them. they have refunded me my postage already because I was able to provide them the tracking number, but say that it can take 2 weeks for them to process the refund (so i think although tracking shows them have them, they havent actually went through them to check?) Not sure how long to leave before chasing them again. They do respomd really quickly though so overall happy with them.
  • My experience with Javari has been quite good too. I used this £20 off £60 spend code a few weeks back. I ordered 2 pairs of boots in a size 6, but they were too big. So I called customer services, explained this, I reordered the boots in a size 5, and sent an email explaining to them that when I tried to use the code for my new order it was only taking £10 off rather than £20. I also told them that the boots had gone up in price since I last ordered. They emailed me back saying they would refund the extra £10 I paid plus the price difference :)

  • mine were posted 30th Nov...I now have the new problem that my bank has issued me with a new card, and instructions to destroy my original card(tho apparantly this will still be valid for 21days after issue of the new one),dont know where my refund will go if my original card is expired?(same account, but different card number)
Good luck andidb, hope you get a refund soon,il watch out for your reply and hopefully we will both be refunded before christmas...im with you,I wont use Shudoo again.
I work for a bank and in my experience with customer refunds due to cancelled cards, if the company are unwilling to refund to a different card number then they would normally be happy to send you a cheque.

Always been very pleased with Amazon delivery/returns/refunds.

I had to return part of my first order to Javari using their returns label and obtaining "proof of posting" on 30h November emailed on the 8th asking if they had received it and by return told can take up to 2 weeks to be processed at their Fulfilment Centre. They did say if I supplied them with Recorded Delivery number they can track and trace and can process the refund quicker.

In future, even with a free return I shall pay the Recorded Delivery fee as I assumed that the bar coding on the Javari label was traceable by Javari. On the Royal Mail website if you type in the Proof of POsting number it only tells you what time the parcel was handed in at the post office.

What I sent back was not even for me - a colleague asked me to order for her as I was putting in an order............she gave me the cash.............. they were way too big for her so I printed her off the returns label thinking she would take the packet to the post office but made a load of excuses so I posted them back the same day and gave her the cash back! So it looks like my good turn has cost me.
