Hi everyone. Thank goodness I have found this site. Have got myself in a bit of a mess really adn should not be wher i am. I have a good salary, 2 properties with plenty of equity on both BUT £29,000 debts all on credit cards rangin between 8% and 20% APR.
First thought, i'll get a loan and pay them all off. Tried my bank - they said no. Tried other banks and loan companies - they said no too. Tried extending my mortgage on my 2nd property - they said no. Have tried to open any 0% transfer balabce cards but no from them too! Only thing i have been offered is a secured loan and i am loathe to do that. I have a stupid CCJ from about 4 years ago from a solicitors for £300 which even though it shows as "satisfied" on my credit rating, still seems to affect it.
So basically - i am being crippled by repayents on these cards adn dont really have a way ou at the moment. Any iadvice would be very very very gratefully received.

Hello and welcome!
Well done for making your first post and i'm sure lots of others will be along to give their valuable advice.
Can i ask what are the 2 properties for? Do you live in one, rent them etc?
Also if you can it would be great if you can post a statement of affairs, this is a list of ALL your incommings and outgoings.
Its really a blessing that you were turned down for the consoldiation loan's, its not the best thing to do.

:wave: Hi Kerry!
First of all, don;t panic!
Can you post an SOA - see the sticky at the top of the board - so we know what you have coming in and going out, and all your debts?
Then we can advise on the best way forward:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

Probably a blessing in disguise not being accepted for all these loans.
Wish they had said no to me when I applied! :doh:
Gonan repeat what everyone else has said but post a SOA (see this thread for a guide)0 -
Hi Kerry and welcome! First of all don't worry about the loans- it's probably a blessing in disguise as loans were my downfall (as well as stupidity but let's not go there!)
Once you post your SOA I'll have a look and see if I can add any words of wisdom.Debt at highest May 2006: £27,472.24

Matched betting profits are irrelevent and suggestive. Go for the secured loan if you really think you can service it.0

Odd. Are you referring to SS's signature?!0

He must be referring to the lovely SS's signature. Well, you could do a lot worse than follow SS's example judging by the profit he's making but I didn't see him give it the hard sell...Debt at highest May 2006: £27,472.24
